Senior Consultant (Solomon Projects)

Overview:

This company is one of the leading providers of Business Application ERP Software Solutions in the Windows/SQL Server environment. We have offices in Los Angeles, Cleveland, Seattle, Houston and the New York area. Our consultants provide installation, implementation, training and support, as well as custom development and report writing services to companies in the fast growth, middle and mid-enterprise markets. We are currently seeking a talented individual for the position of Senior Consultant (Solomon Projects) to augment our Tri-State (NY, NJ, CT) practice.

Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Consultant (Solomon Projects) are:

* Participate in new ERP implementations, specifically involving Project Costing and Job Costing applications, including:
o Configure ERP modules per design specification
o Test ERP configuration using Pilot systems
o Conduct end user training
o Migrate data from previous system to new ERP system utilizing data migration tools
o Design FRx financial reports (P&L and Balance Sheets)
o Prepare implementation documentation
* Support existing clients in all aspects of their ERP application including add-on modules, new reports, troubleshooting errors, additional training to new client employees.

Requirements:

Suitable candidates must have:

* A bachelors degree in accounting or computer information systems
* Significant experience with Solomon or other similar ERP packages (e.g. Deltek, Timberline, Geac), including significant experience with Project Costing and Job Costing applications.
* Good communication skills as this position would be a Client facing position.
* Positive attitude to Customer service
* Desire to learn new technologies and willingness to become certified on ERP applications
* Strong desire for professional development
* A consulting background
* Technical skills (MS Office, SQL, report writing, integration tools, installation)
