The BearingPoint Integration Services Group is currently searching for a Systems Engineer.


Location: Virginia Beach, Virginia
Relocation: Yes


Performance Profile:
-Identify Systems data collection requirements for the Analysis and Engineering teams
-Assist with the development of the necessary systems and applications technical documents and collection templates to be used by the onsite Discovery Teams
-Transition completed Data Packages to the Analysis Team
-Interface with other teams in a Liaison support role for the purpose of addressing data questions and to facilitate the resolution of discovery-related issues
-Develop and tracks the Systems metrics for the team activities
-Monitor and support the onsite discovery efforts for Systems data
-Develop the appropriate training around systems discovery activities as required


Position-specific Required Skills:
-US Citizen
-Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
-7 years plus Systems Management experience in the following:
-Systems design and management
-Applications support
-Operating systems experience (Windows and Unix)
-Database Administration
-Understanding of systems business requirements and technical requirements
-COTS and GOTS applications
-Experience with documenting systems architecture and interfaces
-System Security Authorization Agreements (SSAA)
-Navy IT and legacy systems and applications environment
-MS applications experience(MS-Visio/PowerPoint,Excel,Access, & Microsoft Sharepoint)


Postion-Specific Desired Skills:
-Strong Writing skills
-Good Communications Skills
-Knowledge of Navy Functional Area Managers (FAMS) and experience of the work being performed by the FAMS
-Training skills
-Strong Business skills
-Software development background
-Understanding of overall direction of Navy IT
-MCSE, MCSD, MCDBA, CISSP
