Job Summary

Responsible to define Wyeth’s integration strategy and set the direction for future enterprise integration initiatives. Responsible for interpreting project requirements and architecting solutions for all application components (e.g. adapters, services) of the Wyeth’s IBM Websphere Message Broker environment. Leads project technical architecture for Wyeth Integration Center of Excellence.

Job Responsibilities

Architect solutions for projects that integrate with the Wyeth’s IBM Websphere Message Broker environment.

Define and champion the Integration strategy for Wyeth.

Design, develop, maintain and enhance Integration Middleware components.

Build / Test Proof-of-concepts on new integration initiatives.

Liaise with offshore Integration Middleware support and development teams.

Document architectural patterns, best practices, and processes.

Estimate project effort based on requirements gathered and technical direction chosen.

Basic Qualifications

BS/BA / MS/MA +12 years or PhD + 6-7 years or equivalent years of work experience required.

Previous working knowledge and experience with IBM Websphere Message Broker, IBM Websphere MQ Series or similar technology is required.Experience architecting solutions using the IBM Message Broker is required. This experience would be obtained in large-scale ESB implementations. Four to six years experience in integration technology is required. Experience integrating with SAP and Documentum and experience working with validation and qualified systems would be an asset and is desired. Project Management knowledge and process experience would be helpful. Successful candidate will be required to make technical architectural decisions on specific projects within the group. Experience working on teams and collaborative work experience is required.

Relocation is not available for this position.
