We are looking for a Senior Cross Platform Analyst/Programmer. The ideal candidate will need to function using a combination of talents and skills. Combination of business/systems analysis AND a developer who can work on multiple platforms (Unix/Mainframe MVS) while coding using multiple programming tools (Oracle SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, SQL Loader, Stored Procedures, Unix Shell Scripting and DB2 (DB2 Utilities, Cobol, JCL). Candidate MUST have 10+ years overall IT experience. Candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, testing and supporting sales information applications using these cross platform skillsets. Candidate MUST have experience in moving data across multiple platforms, understand and modify complex business logic, and deliver under tight deadlines. Candidate will be responsible for performing analysis as needed. Candidate MUST understand relational databases and be able to produce ad-hoc data extracts as needed. Developing new programs to support specific customer needs and system upgrades. This person must have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
