Description
A growing company in the S.E. Phoenix/Tempe area is looking for a Senior DB2/DBA. The main responsibility will be to bring about DB2 solutions for this company's enterprise Datawarehouse environment which is focused on stability, performance, scalability, and efficiency. The secondary role is to provide physical database design solutions for high priority projects. The DB2 DBA will provide primary DBA design and support services for establishing, upgrading, and maintaining the DB2 UDB environment. For consideration, please send your resume to (see below)

4-10 years of experience working as a Database Administrator with a DB2 UDB operating environment in a UNIX environment are required. Data warehouse experience is also required. DB2 LUW v9 experience is a plus. Specific Requirements:
  • Experience tuning databases in the UNIX environment
  • Experience with Sun Solaris, Linux, AIX, etc. (will be considered)
  • Defining best practices-development, operations, and capacity planning
  • Strong communication skills
  • A strong background working on large scale projects
