Position: Senior DB2 DBA
Location: Charlotte NC
Duration: 6 months +

. Must have minimum 5 years experience in administering DB2 databases in a UNIX production environment.

. Any experience working on Informix DBMS experience also a plus.

. Good Experience in database design, performance monitoring-tuning, backup-recovery, shell scripting, software installation-upgrades, troubleshooting, and proactively maintaining production databases.

. Provide backup and restore support for production/staging databases.

. Administer database users and database security.

. Create and maintain documentation of all production policies, procedures, server configurations, error logs, maintenance records and product troubleshooting instructions

. Identify, troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate issues that affect the systems, servers and database related products.

. Must have strong communication and interpersonal, leadership skills, and be highly motivated to work in a team environment.


Compensation and other relevant details:

1. We are looking only for people willing to join us directly as W2 employees.
2. W2 salaried with full benefits or W2 hourly all-inclusive rates.
3. Prefer Local candidates but W2 salaried employees may also receive relocation assistance.
