ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
=C6=92x Builds, tests and supports relational database objects using DB2 on an AS/400.
=C6=92x Leads physical relational database design and SQL administration services.
=C6=92x Provides relational database application production support services across multiple applications and platforms for application developers under minimal supervision.
=C6=92x Provides consultative services on efficient writing of SQL queries and data access methods.
=C6=92x Provides consultative services for relational database technology direction and acquisition. May include communication and presentation to business unit management.
=C6=92x Mentors and trains other staff members.
=C6=92x Demonstrates professionalism in the workplace.

Experience/Skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
=C6=92x Bachelors Degree in Information Management or equivalent work experience.
=C6=92x Strong knowledge of relational database design, data warehousing, structured query language (SQL) and relational database management systems across multiple platforms.
=C6=92x A minimum of 10 years experience DB2/400 database experience.
=C6=92x One to three yearsi: data warehouse experience.
=C6=92x Experience as a relational database administrator and/or programmer.
=C6=92x Experience with various operating systems (AS/400, Unix, etc).
=C6=92x Strong CL programming skills required
=C6=92x RPGIII/IV programming skills desired
=C6=92x Ability to make independent decisions.
=C6=92x Demonstrated ability to multi-task.
=C6=92x Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
