Description
Responsible for the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of all databases and servers utilized by a large government agency. Provides and maintains full database documentation that includes the data dictionary for databases. Performs database backups and restorations services. Will support the RMT suite of Army financial applications deployed for use in a high availability 24/7 environment.

Skills Required: Expert level Database Administration Skills (SQL Server). Extensive knowledge of MS Windows Server architecture and administration. experience supporting leveraged storage devices (SAN). Experience in proactive monitoring and support. Experience in a large production environment (>4 TB) with many concurrent users (more than 500). Self motivated, detail oriented, excellent critical thinking skills and communication skills are required for this on-site support position.

Desired Skills: Solaris/Oracle skills a plus but not required.

Requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent and 7 years of related experience.df-tc
