The preferred candidate will be a self-starter who works excellent in a team environment. They should posses the discipline and stress management of meeting challenging deadlines. Strong communication skills are a must as client and internal interaction is an essential component of the position. The candidate must possess the ability and experience to jump in and make a difference immediately. Any data integration and data conversion experience from major HRIS or similar type systems are a plus.

Responsibilities:
? Develops physical data models for medium-size databases; ensures that physical data model is normalized to match client specifications and established procedures.
? Document and define database, data integration, and data conversion standards.
? Supports the Software Engineer in maintaining the physical data model and controlling the physical database definition according to client business rules and structure; assists the Software Engineers in planning data integrations and data conversions on the database to ensure compliance with scoped implementations.
? Verifies program performance specifications with developers and keeps them informed about problems in production support; proposes unique solutions that improve function and performance.
? Implements new data technologies and releases; assists in evaluation of database administration tools that will increase database efficiency; works closely with Software Engineers to recommend, develop, and implement measurements for systems performance against expectations.
? Designs and builds integration and data conversion structures from multiple 3rd party data sources types.
? Design and maintain Data Marts and Data Warehouse.
? Performs other related duties as required.

Other Duties:
? Maintaining, designing, developing, coding and testing Stored Procedures, Triggers, and DTS.
? Debug and optimize existing SQL queries and stored procedures.

Required Qualifications Include:
Bachelor?s degree in programming/systems or computer science, specialized training, certification, and at least five years experience working with various database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance and administration; or at least seven years of progressively responsible technology work-related experience, to include a minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in a multi-platform environment working with SQL Server database management systems in database design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and administration. Leadership qualities are required.
