Senior Data Analyst

Job Responsibilities / Description:
This position is very similar to a Business Analyst, but with a strong data-centric orientation. In this role the qualified candidate would be responsible for understanding the overall business requirements of business intelligence and data warehousing initiatives within the business unit. Responsible for understanding the existing business and technical environment. Represents the business interests throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluates business processes in the data discovery process Defines detailed data requirements, and contributes to development of logical and physical data models. Performs source system analysis, profiling and data quality assessments. Defines detailed requirements and contributes to design related to Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) functions including source-to-target mappings and transformation specifications. Defines detailed requirements and contributes to design for target data mart access and security. Reviews technical designs. Facilitates the acquisition of external feeds and access to source repositories.

* Experience performing data analysis in a data warehousing or enterprise data reporting environment.
* Knowledge of the financial services industry, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Business Intelligence (BI) significant pluses.df-tc
