Description
I. Job Summary:
Provides data analysis and research on a wide variety of corporate projects within the Enterprise Analytic Environment (EAE) program plan. Defines, interprets and documents warehouse data requirements. Designs functional resolutions and specifications for project implementations, reports, reconciliations and problem review. Using the iterative Data Warehouse Life-cycle development methodology, works closely with other EAE departments and team members to deliver solutions that are aligned with corporate strategies. Provides highly specialized subject matter expertise and/or serves as consultant for various EAE objectives. Recommends development process improvements and partners with development teams to capture data requirements. Work is frequently of a very complex nature.

II. Accountabilities:
1.Performs data analysis using EAE guiding principles and best standards as well as the dimension modeling methodology, recommending improvements where applicable. Utilizes reusable objects when creating data models.
2.Integrates the target data models into the EAE DW bus matrix
3.Defines and implements related repository procedures and meta data focused on the functional areas of: data administration, database administration, system developers, business users.
4.Develops, analyzes and documents warehouse data requirements pertinent to projects, reports, problems, procedural implementations, litigations and various ad- hoc customer requests in approved Enterprise Metadata Management Application (EMMA).
5.Designs system resolutions and alternative resolutions pertinent to warehouse data and business requirements.
6.Designs and documents associated functional specifications for EAE projects, problems or implementations.
7.Reviews and approves specifications of other team members.
8.Performs very complex tasks related to all phases of project management.
9.Performs risk assessments and cost/benefit analysis for various projects.
10.Analyzes departmental and divisional communications and new procedures or products to determine/assess ramifications pertinent to EAE and related systems.
11.Provides consultation/subject matter expertise to other EAE systems professionals and business users regarding business processes as well as EAE functionality and design.
12.Manages customer expectations and produces defect free work products within established timeframes.
13.Leads project teams or serves as a key team leader or team member on key assignments.
14.Initiates formal and informal contact with customers and team members to build rapport and relationships.
15.Models the EAE vision in day-to-day actions, priorities, and decisions and represents the vision across EAE/S and/or the organization.
16.Serves as mentor to departmental staff regarding the analysis, development, maintenance, integration and support of application software.
17.Develops and demonstrates understanding of the business issues for warehouse data related to areas support.


III. Job Requirements:
Required Qualifications: (to be consider for the position)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related topic, and five to seven years of related experience and/or training. 3OR, if no degree, 9+ years of job related experience.
Familiarity with data analysis concepts and data modeling tools. Important: Within this experience there needs to be 4-5 years of data warehouse experience with dimensional modeling and data modeling tools.
General knowledge of SQL, MVS Job Control Language, and
programming.
