Senior Data Analyst - Nashville, TN

Do you have exceptional analytical approach towards business functionality?
Are you skilled in solving complex problems and providing detailed technical analysis?
Are you well versed in working through cross functional teams?

Position Overview:
You will be responsible for writing/executing complex SQL scripts on MS SQL Server and performing data analysis on large data sets pulled from a variety of systems.

Responsibilities:
 Driving the accuracy and reliability of the company s financial reporting systems.
Analyzing and understanding data from these sources and identifying data anomalies/issues that could be caused by system transaction processing failures.
Working with various teams and departments across the company to obtain all required/necessary data/information, engaging heavily with IT, Revenue Assurance, Risk Management and Client Services.

Qualifications:
 Bachelors in (computer science, MIS, mathematics) or relevant experience
4+years of data analysis experience.
Extensive experience working with relational databases and writing/executing SQL scripts on MS SQL Server
Advanced MS Excel skills including modeling, pivot tables, VBA functions and formulas
Ability to learn new concepts and master complicated data models quickly and comprehensively.
Demonstrated experience in understanding of general ledger accounts and journal entries.
