Adecco Technical has an excellent and unique opportunity for a Senior Data Warehouse Architect to work with our client company in Duluth, MN. The position, as described below, will require three days onsite and two days off-site. We are only seeking senior candidates with previous project management and leadership backgrounds. Parameters of Assignment:  6-9 month contract position  2-3 days per week (flexible schedule) at client headquarters in Duluth, Minnesota  Some national travel to customer locations will be required  Travel/lodging/meal expenses reimbursed Responsibilities: -Take a lead architect role in designing, developing, and implementing data warehousing (DW) solutions in large complex environments, including but not limited to: dimensional modeling, logical and physical data model design, database tuning/optimization, design and development of ETL processes, and tool architecture design and deployment strategy. - Develop databases for commercially solid applications and develop databases, data marts, and data warehouses for analytical purposes. -Regularly interact with large corporate clients, and lead documentation and presentation efforts. - Lead various project teams. Required Experience, Knowledge, and Abilities: - Proven expertise in designing, building, and implementing data warehouses and data marts - Very strong Informatica skills -Java programming experience preferred. -Minimum of 5 years of UML modeling experience -Strong relational database management skills (Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, and DB2) - Experience with ERwin -Strong experience applying ETL tools - Experience with Shell Scripting - Experience as a supervisor or project leader -Prior consulting experience preferred -Excellent written and oral communication skills - Strong customer interaction skills
