TITLE: Data Warehouse Expert
LOCATION: Dayton, OH
DURATION: 12 months +
PAY RATE: Max bill rate of $120/hr on a 1099 (W2 rates or salaried employment with full benefits also available).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

DPC is seeking a 'true consultant' who can help troubleshoot complex issues relating to large (terabyte) Data warehouse project. This person is expected to be a problem solver who is familiar with the configuration and integration of many COTS Data Warehouse products.

This person will report to Project Managers / Principal Architects who are managing 37 separate projects.

The role will be to research various issues and provide detailed information to upper management regarding the status of the project, identify issue's cause and provide guidance / advice on what action steps should be taken.

Technical Needs:

MUST have a solid understanding of large enterprise Data warehouses at large (Fortune 500) clients.
MUST have excellent knowledge of the Unix platform
SHOULD have Teradata (will consider equivalent)
SHOULD have Websphere (will consider equivalent)
SHOULD have Business Objects (will consider equivalent)
SHOULD have Cognos (will consider equivalent)

Personality Traits Required:

This person needs to be very well spoken and be able to present to senior management. This person has to be detail oriented while working on many projects simultaneously. This person needs to be a proactive member of the team and able to function well with minimal supervision.
