Senior Desktop Analyst
$23.62 - $29.50/hr

SUMMARY
My client is a Fortune 500 company seeking a Senior Desktop Analyst for their Orange County center.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for servers, network, and network services design and implementation.
Monitor network on a rolling schedule for the Help Desk process.
Partner with the customers to ensure optimum computer support for all departments.
Work closely with LAN Administrators in analyzing, researching and implementing design changes or program fixes.
Implement desktop system changes such as application changes, system options and parameters and service additions or deletions. With Independent ability to install, configure, and test Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Outlook, & Microsoft Application suite
Administration trouble ticketing to support all LAN system users.
Maintain a Problem Notification (PN) and Service Request (SR) ticketing system using Remedy Help Desk software Serve as a primary contact to service the End Users.
Follow up with customer upon receipt of problems and provide timely status reports until problem is resolved.
Responsible for application support as defined in the roles and responsibilities of the Service Level Agreements
Assist in the implementation of system security policy, host and client access, file permissions, and user accounts.
Implementation desktop system changes such as application changes, system options and parameters and service additions or deletions. With Independent ability to install, configure, and test Microsoft Windows 2000/XP, Microsoft Outlook, & Microsoft Application suite

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Bachelors of Science in Information Technology is preferred.
Experience with desktop vitalization technology, VMware preferred
Experience with Microsoft SMS and SQL preferred
CCNA cert a plus.
Familiarity with cable TV or telecommunications preferred.

Experience with Remedy or comparable management applications.
MCSE
Experience with MS Exchange Account Management
Proficient in current LAN/WAN technology and Microsoft product
