Senior Developer CEP Development
The position of Senior Developer CEP Development is in Global Prime Finance(GPF), part of GME, in Jersey City, New Jersey. The position will be a contractual position with the possibility to convert to a Client employee at a later stage. GPF group has the responsibility of developing the equity finance Workstation application and underlying position keeping and inventory management. EFW is responsible for automating trading desk and operational business processes related to services provided to our equity finance clients. The Equity Finance Workstation integrates several applications and business groups in the Global Prime Finance business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing position keeping service (PKS) and its integration with equity finance Workstation. PKS will be implemented using Sybase CEP and Java. Candidate will be responsible for developing adapters from multiple systems into CEP and out of CEP to inventory management components. He/she needs to be able to work with a geographically dispersed team and provide leadership related to Sybase CEP and CEP integration development.

Responsibilities:
Be the key technical contact point for all PKS IT design and development tasks;
Develop the integration of CEP with other GPF and non-GPF applications;
Provide technical leadership on Sybase CEP
Provide effort and schedule estimates to aide in creation of project plans;
Accountable for meeting agreed deadlines;
Responsible for the product's quality and completeness of implemented requirements;
Perform level 3 support in case of production problems.

Required Skills:
IT academic background;
5 years or more of software development experience;
Strong knowledge of complex event processing platforms, best practices around CEP
Strong knowledge of Sybase or Coral8 CEP platform a plus.
Strong Knowledge of ESPER or Streambase SQL also a plus.
Strong knowledge (with work experience) in Java, SOAP, XML;
Strong knowledge of relational databases (Sybase IQ/ASE a plus);
Good knowledge of Web technologies.
