Job Description:
The candidate will occupy a management and technical leadership role in providing testing services for the [company] applications. They will oversee the application of the testing lifecycle for full support of changes, releases and ongoing regression testing efforts utilizing Microsoft Office as well as Mercury Quality Center, Quick Test Professional, LoadRunner and Business Process Testing. Good planning, communication, expectation setting, and coordination skills with outside vendors and other [company] business units are essential elements of the job. The candidate will manage and communicate test considerations, defects, process initiatives, and general status of projects to the appropriate staff. All aspects of a quality solution are to be set, measured and reviewed for continuous technical and process improvement. Reviews and recommends approval of project test plans. Reviews and approves all test outcomes.

The job duties include acting as the Release Coordinator/Tester for the monthly weekend maintenance window. A focus on working with the relationship managers and collecting business user needs for communication, testing and uptime is needed. The position will also support infrastructure growth and mature use of automated toolsets to maintain the definitive software library and definitive hardware store. This is a hands-on job collecting and producing IT testing assets for non-enterprise system critical applications.

Job Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience with technology, testing and expertise in applying the project management process is required.
Experience with Mercury toolsets is preferred; however a technical degree with demonstrated computer programming skills: C, VBScript, and an object-oriented language will substitute.df-tc
