System Analyst / Senior Developer (Siebel Web Services)
Job Summary: The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Technical lead in analyzing, designing, implementing and testing the GCOIS SAP workstreams. Specifically, this position will primarily responsible for:
- Apply appropriate analysis and modeling techniques to understand the context and scope of the business processes/functions and map to the Siebel functionality.
- Support Technical Lead for analysis and evaluation of existing systems and information.
- Participate in the creation of System Requirement documents and Technical Design specification documents for existing Siebel system interfaces.
- Responsible for the design, development, testing, debugging and documentation of the application services to satisfy the requirements of one or more functional areas.
- Responsible for designing and implementing Siebel EAI interfaces to external systems using web services and workflow related services.
- Responsible for creating the Siebel EIM scripts, GUI configuration, Siebel VB/eScript in the Siebel Tools environment.
- Responsible for documenting the detailed description of system needs, system functions and steps required to develop or modify existing applications.
- Utilize strong problem solving, interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and have the ability to work both independently and as a team member

Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding of software design/development principles, the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software debugging techniques, and test driven development
- Extensive experience of configuring, customization and maintenance of Siebel 7.x application.
- Experience with n-tiered applications and solid Siebel architecture knowledge
- Experience with Siebel EAI technology (web services, integration objects, workflows) is highly desirable
- Experience with development and deployment of Siebel EAI components: Web Services, Java Data Beans, EIM, etc.
- Proven programming skills related to Siebel development, including eScript, smart script, web services and WSDL.
- Extensive experience on XML and XSD
- Experience with Informatica ETL & SAP XI tool is nice to have
- Siebel 7 certification preferred
- A degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Mathematics
