Job Overview:
  • Work as a core member of the Architecture & Engineering team in the area of Business Intelligence/Data Integration focusing on the Tibco Business Works. Responsibilities include:
    o Design and development of Tibco Business Works Workflows.
    o Testing and deploying workflows into production environment.
    o Development and deployment of Tibco Hawk rules.
    o Administration of Tibco Business Works Server(s)
    o Installation, upgrade and configuration of production servers
    o Performance tuning of Business Works workflows

  • Typically minimum of 4 years' experience.

    Required Technologies/Skills:

  • The candidate must have hands on experience with TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x
  • Working experience with TIBCO adapters like ADB , LDAP adapters.
  • Working experience in creating Error Handling/ re-usable frameworks for TIBCO BusinessWorks.
  • Ability to set best practices and architectural guidance in using Tibco BusinessWorks
  • Solid understanding of XML-based standards and specifications: XML, DTD, XML Schema, XML DB, XSLT, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE
  • The candidate must have architectural-level knowledge of commonly used messaging services (JMS preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Middleware technical architecture principles and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging EAI standards.
  • Expertise in performance tuning and capacity planning.
  • Work with an application development team to provide TIBCO integrated solutions. Participate in design, construction and configuration of formal specifications for integration solutions
  • Strong Data Base Management Skills (DB2, Sybase expertise is essential)
  • Proficiency working in a UNIX/Linux environment.
  • Must have:
    o strong problem solving and analytical skills
    o excellent communication skills (spoken and written English and listening skills)
  • Candidate should be a quick learner. Should have demonstrated in the past quick learning capabilities ? e.g. worked on a project without a given skill but acquired those skills quickly
  • Must be a team player

    Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of an ETL tool Informatica is a huge plus
    o Analysis, design and development of Informatica mappings
  • Demonstrable expertise in ETL technologies and product suites
  • Knowledge of EII tools like Composite is a plus
  • Ability to conduct informal design reviews and to lead or facilitate group discussions
  • Have demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues in timely manner
  • Self planning, prioritization and management; effective and quick self-starter, independent work process.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the development of advanced technologies
  • May act as a technical lead
  • Provide recommendations to team lead and/or other senior management regarding the Firm?s long range information systems and technology strategy
  • Prepare analysis of hardware/software and applications
  • Required to have thorough understanding of existing technologies
  • May specialize in specific IT languages
  • Act as a liaison with Team Leader and/or other senior IT people and business clients to provide timely resolution to all production issues
  • Work closely with Team Leaders to define and elaborate on functional specifications for new and enhanced software features or services
  • Participate in the design of the architecture through implementation, testing and release
  • Assist Team Leaders or Project Managers in planning, developing and deploying project plans
  • Analyze business requirements; follow through with technical design, coding, testing and implementationdf-tc
