Division 1 Solutions represents several prestigious firms in the financial, Insurance, Pharmaceuticals and Telecommunications industries. One of our clients is urgently looking for a Senior Developer with 3 years Experience interacting with a fixed income trading desk is required and they are looking to fill this position(s) ASAP.

Experience/Skills
Overview:
- Senior persons that have front-office/trading background in fixed income instruments, especially in asset backed securities and/or credit default swaps.
- Ideally, this person should have both this business background and IT -- the perfect combination would be someone who has built such a system before.
- Technologies include Java and Unix/Linux in the backend servers, C/C# for the front-end UI, and knowledge of SOA implementations.

Responsibilities:
- Use state of the art software to develop high quality software throughout the entire software engineering lifecycle.
- Responsibilities involve working with customers to identify, document and review requirements.
- Develop functional prototype per customer requirements.
- Design and develop reusable high and low level software architectures and components using OOA/OOD tools and techniques.
- Implement reusable software infrastructure components utilizing C#.
- Verify that the implemented software meets requirements.

Qualifications:
- 3 years Experience interacting with a fixed income trading desk is required
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to understand and maintain financial mathematical models
- Extensive experience in the design, hands-on development, and support of substantial Fixed Income analytics and trading systems
- Exposure to forecasting, interest rate modeling, option pricing, mortgage modeling, and accounting is desirable, as is an academic background in computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics, or another quantitative field
