Description

61470 Looking for a Technical Lead for the development group. You must have strong Java/J2EE and Rational Rose experience.

Job Requirements:
- 3 - 5 years of experience in systems analysis and design.

- 8 - 10 years of experience in Information Technology.

- Experience in the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Universal Modeling Language (UML).

- Strong competencies in Rational Requisite Pro, Rational Rose, and Erwin.

- Working knowledge of JAVA/J2EE and Oracle; other languages and data tools a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Must have the ability to work closely with developers and Project

- Managers on multiple concurrent assignments. May manage indirect reports.

- Retail system knowledge is preferred.

- Must have experience with on-line, batch, synchronous and asynchronous processes.

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Provide initial design, development and testing estimates to Project

- Management to assist in definition of project scope, assumptions and constraints.

- Create software designs by translating business architecture artifacts into application design artifacts.

- Define High-level Process, Data Flows and Messaging techniques across platforms.

- Design UI interface layouts.

- Design logical data models.

- Create volumetric/transactional analysis to determine design needs and implications.

- Work with developers in building prototypes to prove architecturally significant use cases and mitigate risks related to design approach.

- Interact with Business Analysts and Business Relationship Managers on design options.

- Represent application requirements to the Enterprise Architects during architecture reviews.

- Provide developers with the proper documentation and direction to build applications.
