Senior .NET DeveloperLocation: Chula Vista, CASkills: The ideal candidate will possess a ASP.NET and SQL background, with a strong working knowledge of C# with Visual Studio 2005/2008, SQL Server 2005, HTML, AJAX, XML and Web Services. Job Description: The .NET Developer will be responsible for a wide range of IS duties including the design, modification, development, programming and implementation of software applications, database and enterprise reporting and analysis solutions. The individual in this role will use their diverse technical background to perform a variety of application development and support activities.Works independently and reviews, coordinates, analyzes and defines requirements for new development or enhancements to and maintenance of existing systems. Develops detailed functional and technical specifications for complex programs and processes for applications, prepares test data, and performs implementations. Provides technical assistance for less experienced staff members. DESCRIPTION OF POSITION * Develop front and back end design for web applications, including analyzing and collecting requirements from customer; develop functional specifications. * Estimate effort and write technical specifications that accurately reflect the design requirements and standards. * Create functional code from design specifications for new development, enhancements or maintenance projects. * Develop test plans; prepare test data, test, and document results for unit, integration and QA testing. * Analyze database constructs and create database design specifications associated with new development or enhancements. * Support existing web applications following documented procedures for change control and issue tracking. * Provide customer support and conduct customer training as required. QUALIFICATIONS Required Education * 4-year college degree.Required Experience * 5 years of IT application development experience Required Skills: * 4 years experience in the full life cycle development of server-based systems, with emphasis in iterative development. Demonstrates excellent skills in C#, Microsoft technologies, including .NET Framework, ASP.NET, XML, AJAX, and Web Services. Proficient in using Visual Studio 2005/2008. Value-Add: * Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, familiarity with agile-like development methodologies, and knowledge of emerging Internet technologies and industry trends. Personal Qualities/Traits: * Strong written and verbal communication skills, leader, team player, effectively present information and respond to questions one-on-one or to groups at differing levels. Ability to work with personnel at all levels, attention to detail. Willingness to learn the business, ability to work independently, ability to follow departmental standards.
