Description
This individual will be involved in the full lifecycle of software systems design and development in a variety of environments but primarily focused in web-based, multi-tier applications. This is a small, focused team in a fast growing environment, so candidates should be able to demonstrate self-reliance and adaptability in their work and development approach. We work closely with our internal and external customers, so strong communication skills are also a must. A senior level candidate must have demonstrated experience in project leadership, employee training and mentoring as well as possess a broad and deep range of technical skills.

The technical skills required for this position include proficiency with current and legacy Microsoft technologies (e.g. .Net (C#), SQL Server, ASP.Net, ASP, COM) as well as a experience in OOAD and common development and testing methodologies. Some technical documentation will also be required including, but not limited to architectural/design documents, system configuration guides and technical user guides (e.g. white papers). Senior level candidates should have documented experience in technical design documentation in common forms such as UML, XSD/DTD and standard database schema diagrams.df-tc

Experience/Skills
Senior level candidates should have 8 - 12 years development experience overall with a minimum of 5 - 6 years in the applicable areas.

Bachelors degree in CS/Information Systems or equivalent experience
Experience with programming in C#, ASP & ASP.Net
Developer experience with SQL Server
Experience building web-based applications
Experience in API development and integration frameworks preferably including SOAP based web services
Solid understanding of object oriented design and implementation.
Familiarity with legacy Microsoft frameworks such as COM/COM+
