Description
Sr. .NET Web Developer
Location: Santa Barbara-must work onsite
Must have demonstrated expert-level knowledge in most, if not all, of the following technologies and practices:
* Demonstrated object-oriented design, implementation and debugging skills. Strong expertise in OO design/development. Experience in using design tools.
* 3+ years experience with C# .NET, .NET Framework 3.0 (3.5 preferred), Java a plus.
* 3+ years programming skills: Web programming (ajax, CSS, HTML, XML, XSLT, asp.net, javascript).
* Experience with high-traffic, production Microsoft IIS web-server preferred.
* Must have good written and verbal communication skills, and the drive and ability to document professionally
* Proven ability to work constructively in an enterprise team environment.
* Requires previous experience with ecommerce front and back-end systems.
Duties
Develops, codes, tests and debugs new software or enhancements to existing software within our application framework. Evaluates functional requirements and works with the Principal Engineer to develop specifications into cost-effective, technically correct solutions.
Facilitates and/or participates in the design, development, and implementation of large, complex technology solutions supporting one or more business and/or technology channels.
Implements appropriate solutions that may involve multiple platforms, languages, databases, software/hardware, technologies and tools.
Technical Abilities
Possesses thorough working knowledge of all tools and techniques required for area(s) of responsibility. Is able to use understanding of the business domain and systems environment to develop appropriate and timely solutions to daily issues.
Problem Solving & Decision Making
Demonstrates sound analytical and diagnostic skills dealing with issues that are may be loosely defined and where information is available but requires further research. Is able to explain and document decisions and can follow and direct action and action plan to implement intended results.df-tc
