Project Skills and Experience:

? Requires at least two years intensive Informatica development experience
? Requires prior experience on a major data conversion effort
? Requires strong SQL skills
? Prefer candidate with experience in doing analysis and data mapping for data conversion
? Prefer candidate with DB2 SQL skills

Position Purpose:
ETL Analyst/Development role in the design, construction, testing, and implementation of the ETL phases of the Enterprise Data Warehousing solutions using the Informatica 7.x suite of tools.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
? Assist with Business and Data analysis
? Design, Construct, Unit and Integration test Informatica Mappings/sessions according to specification.
? Assist in designing and implementing test plans for ETL sessions and maps.
? Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to the FTE.
? Good communication skills required.

Technical Skills:
? Minimum of 10 years IT experience
? Minimum of 5 years detailed experience using Informatica Power Center 5.x+ in all aspects of ETL design, specification and implementation
? Excellent Unix skills
? Familiarity with Quest DB2 Connect & UNIX AIX Scripting
? Experience in Cognos Matrix Manager (CMM), Power Play and ReportNet a plus.
? Strong SQL and SQL plus skills within Oracle or DB2
? Experience in data modeling using Erwin is a plus
? Expertise in data mapping, data transformation and data movement

Individual needs to work independently, have excellent technical and professional client interaction skills for all phases of the project life cycle.
