Opportunity: Senior Electrical Engineer (Licensed Professional Engineer, PE)

Industry: Electrical Power & Lighting for Buildings Facilities

Office Location: Sacramento, California

Salary: $75,000 to $85,000 annual base salary DOE & fully employer paid benefits coverage

Nationally recognized Electrical Engineering Consulting firm with expertise focused upon the electrical power and lighting systems of diverse building and facility types; actively seeks senior level experienced Electrical Engineer, PE to join our local Sacramento based office.

Ideal Electrical Engineering professional will have project management level skills and experience with regards to indoor or outdoor building facility power and lighting systems, preferable pertaining to large scale buildings within the commercial, healthcare, institutional, civic, education, or other public sector project sectors. Desired Electrical Engineer will have a bachelors or masters degree in Electrical Engineer; current registration as a state of California Professional Engineer, PE; and upwards of 5+ years of electrical engineering experience working within an electrical engineering consulting or design build firm. Engineers with industry related skills and experience with regards to AutoCAD and Title-24 are a plus.

Position responsibilities & duties of this Electrical Engineer will include but are not limited to:

• Undertake electrical systems design for building projects; including power systems, lighting, fire alarm and other signal systems.
• Design and perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
• Prepare and review drawings detailing the design.
• Report writing.
• May coordinate work with internal Engineers of other disciplines.
• May attend meetings and communicate with clients to establish their needs and discuss design issues with them.

• Good communication skills essential for team-based working
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
• Self-managed and good client relationship skills
