Description
Robert Half IT Search is looking for a capable Senior Embedded Software Engineer for one of our premier clients in the Raleigh-Durham area.
The following are highly desired:
  • Knowledge of Rational, iLogix, Telelogic
  • experience with ITS systems and software (e.g., navigational devices, Telematics, mobile phones, wireless networking, etc.).
  • Experience in WinCE, Linux, GUI Development, and shell scripting
  • Demonstrated experience in cross-platform development, debugging, and test tools.

    Experience/Skills
    The ideal candidate MUST have:
  • Proven C\C++ skills, experience with RTOS, and proficiency in networking protocols
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field is required; a Master's Degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with C and C++ in microprocessor-based embedded systems (8-to-32 bit).
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-threaded, real-time operating systems.
  • Demonstrated Expertise in CPU and memory architectures; I/O and peripherals; networking (wired and wireless); security and encryption; and multimedia standards.
  • Experience in development methodologies, ie, Agile/Scrum, OOA/D, UML.
