Blackbaud is launching a next generation platform that will redefine constituent relationship management (CRM) for the world's largest nonprofits. This new platform will bring true 1:1 constituent relationship management across federated nonprofit environments while enabling the individual success of member organizations within that federation. It will also help large nonprofits better utilize existing technology and infrastructure to realize significant cost and organizational efficiencies.

Reporting to the Practice Manager of Enterprise Solutions, this position is primarily responsible for the delivery of Blackbaud's enterprise software implementation projects and will also contribute to pre-sales and executive sponsorship efforts. We currently have a growing need for Sr. Engagement Managers to work directly with SMEs within the company in order to ensure the successful outcome of their projects. This position is located in Charleston, SC or Chicago, IL and requires 60% or more travel required depending upon the specific project requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Developing project scopes and establishing project schedules
Monitoring project timeline and milestone progress
Utilizing and improving upon Blackbaud solutions methodology
Reporting on available resources, utilization, budget, and project status to project sponsors and stakeholders
Foster clients through the implementation process by acting as a Project Director and key liaison to client executives
Support the Enterprise Sales team by working alongside the Account Executive to position and sell Blackbaud solutions
Contribute thought leadership to Blackbaud Product Development around new features and functionality of Blackbaud's products

Experience and Skills:

Experience and Skills:

3-5 years experience working in a professional services environment
3 or more years of managing software implementation projects for external clients
3 or more years project management experience including developing project schedules, resource planning, project status reporting (verbal and written)
Experience working under the framework of billable hours and utilization requirements
BS/BA degree
Experience with Microsoft Project, Word, and PowerPoint
PMP Certification preferreddf-tc
