Senior Engineer, Crawler DevelopmentLocation: Silicon Valley, CADescription:As a senior engineer, you will be part of a seasoned and dynamic engineering team, building state of the art messaging and collaboration application components using C and Java technologies. This role requires investigation, prototyping, design, development and unit testing sophisticated data acquisition components.In addition, it is important to be able to interface with modern archival systems, enterprise directories, and write efficient algorithms for extracting data from 3rd party systems. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is a strong team player, enjoys solving tough customer problems and is eager to make the product extremely easy to support in the field.Requirements: * BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent. * 5 to 7 years of experience designing and developing complex systems and algorithms. * Strong expertise in Windows, C , and object-oriented programming is required. * Experience designing and developing high-performance, multi-threaded applications. * Experience in Microsoft messaging technologies such as MAPI and Active Directory is desirable * Java or C# experience is desirable but not required. * Experience with writing software interfacing with repositories or archival systems using their native C APIs or knowledge of one or more such repositories will be a plus. * Knowledge of relational databases and schema design is desirable.df-tc
