We are adding a Desktop Engineer to our team.

This position is part of the award-winning Berbee Microsoft practice. With seven partner competencies and specializations, Berbee is part of an elite group of Microsoft Gold and managed Partners worldwide to achieve such levels of achievement. We?ve built a team of certified consultants who have expertise implementing Microsoft?s solution set for Core Infrastructure, Communications and Collaboration, Security and Information Worker Solutions.

As a part of the Berbee Microsoft team, you are in the middle of the action creating technical solutions, impacting Berbee?s business growth and supporting our sales team. This position will be part of the dynamic team in our Cleveland Ohio office. Berbee information Networks is the predominant Cisco, IBM and Microsoft solutions provider in Northeast Ohio. Responsibilities:

The incumbent of this position will:
? Actively participating in the planning, design, and implementation of Microsoft Desktop solutions, infrastructure and related hardware for customers. This includes:
-Following life-cycle oriented processes and procedures
-Implementing test plans, migration plans, and delivery plans
-Network and application troubleshooting
? Prepare design documents and presentations. Clearly describes the design, including rationale for decisions and implications of decisions
? Deliver high-quality solutions to our customers to ensure their investment in technology is consistent with their business objectives.
? Deliver project responsibilities inline with project plan
? Contribute to product development and written proposals
? Working in a team environment
? Conduct workshops, seminars and public presentations on area of expertise

Qualifications:


? Three years of experience delivering complex technical solutions including planning, development, rollout and support experience
? MCSE certification preferred
? Four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; or equivalent experience
? An emphasis on Windows Operating Systems, Novell products and Microsoft core infrastructure technologies
? Technology Generalist who has a broad understanding of an array of Microsoft technologies and their use, such as: Windows Server, Exchange, SMS, SQL Server, SharePoint, Exchange Hosted Services, MOM, ISA, and SUS
? Experience owning some significant aspect of the product/application design and implementation
? Experience and use of Microsoft Operations Framework and ITIL processes.
? Development experience or background is a plus
? Experience with competitive platform upgrades and migrations to a Microsoft platform.
? A professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner towards clients, partners and peers
? Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs.
? This position may require the ability to travel average of 50%
? Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills including demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a business perspective
