NetCool Products a MUST;
Participate as a senior team member in providing 24 X 7 production dayshift support for Enterprise Monitoring & Management (EM&M).
Lead or participate in development and integration activities to roll out EM&M toolset to the corporate infrastructure Skills and Qualifications:

(desired) BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

(required) NetCool (RAD,Omnibus,Impact.Reporter,Precision,ISM,SSM,WEBTop)

(desired) Infovista, Mercury Interactive (Topaz),Sitescope, Oracle, Remedy. IIS, Apache,TripWire

Monitored environments: UNIX (Solaris 8/10, SUSE Linux 9/10, AIX 5.3),Veritas VCS, VMWare, Web Logic 8.x/9.x, Oracle 10G, Sybase, network (IP), LDAP, DNS, firewalls, fireproofs, load balancers, global load balancers, portals

(required) Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP and SNMP Management Protocols.

(desired) Six to twelve years experience in varied technical positions (requires broad technical IS knowledge at a senior level), including development experience implementing systems Infrastructure development/support preferred.

High level of interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.

Direct experience in Network System Management Using IBM Netcool (Omnibus, Impact, WebTop, SSM, ISM, Reporter), TripWire Enterprise version, Info Vista SE, Vista Portal, Vista Mart, Remedy. Perform configuration and customization of distributed SNMP agents and scripts for monitoring servers, networks, databases, application logs, SYSLOGs, etc. MicroMuse SSM administration, troubleshooting, and customization.

(desired) Experience in Windows 2000/2003, Internet Information Server, SQL Server and Oracle Databases.

(desired) Expertise in NetCool troubleshooting and performance tuning, writing stored procedures and triggers.

(required) Solaris sysadmin and PERL or Shell Programming skills.

Interpersonal skills must be well developed.

Documentation, verbal, and presentation skills must be demonstradf-tc
