Description
Senior Engineer with BSEE or equivalent and 5-10 years technical experience needed in Dulles, VA for 4 month contract. Successful candidate must possess analog and power electronics design experience and strong analytical capabilities. Must have experience in the end-to-end design, analysis, debug and test of analog and power electronics, which require use of ingenuity and creativity. Based on broadly defined problems, studies basic design concepts and criteria for analog/power electronics to ascertain the engineering principles involved and to adopt features from previously successful designs of a similar nature. Without appreciable direction, plans, prepares, and completes the design of assigned analog/power electronics. Must be knowledgeable in several of the following areas: power regulation, distribution and switching, analog signal conditioning and processing; EMI/EMC; grounding and signal preservation techniques; worst case circuit analysis, including stability analysis; OrCAD schematic capture for design entry, simulation analysis (PSpice or SABER) and component placement.
