Description
Robert Half Technology is searching for a Senior Engineer in the RTP area. This is a full time salary position with excellent compensation and benefit plan including participation in bonus, stock option, and stock ownership plans. Compensation is based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities:Directly responsible for design and development of mesh networking technologies.
Provide technical leadership and coordinate project deliverables with other team leads.Develop specifications and requirement documents.
Build a world class technical team to develop QuixON communication technology.
Design and oversee development of next generation mesh networking communication technologies.

Experience/Skills
Minimum Qualifications:8+ years experience designing and developing MAC layer communication protocols and technologies.
Significant knowledge of data communication theory and practice.
Experience with wireless mesh networking technologies including ad-hoc mesh networks.
Significant experience with both wireless and wired communication MAC layer protocols.
Track record of developing commercial products from initial concept.
Experience with project planning.
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communication/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
Special Priority will be given to candidates with the following skills:
Experience with Power Line Communication.
A Master’s or Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Communication/Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
