Our Mortgage Insurance client in the Triad area of NC is looking for an Enterprise Java Architect for a long term contract assignment.

Scope of Position:
This Enterprise Architect is responsible for providing architectural support for development initiatives and will assist in developing standards and strategic direction. Responsbilities include:

Document existing architectural standards.

Work with development organization to ensure current and pending standards are adhered to, as well as enhancing the overall development effort.

Mentor development teams in designing and implementing systems and applications.

Work with hardware and operational support teams to implement and support defined architecture.

Assist in identifying new technologies, products and patterns, then evaluate and as appropriate plan the integration into the overall enterprise architecture.

Communicate new technologies, products and patterns to senior management and other key roles in the IT organization.

Help support current systems by acting as a technical expert in software design, coding, and deployment to runtime environments.

Identify and help implement frameworks and common services to enhance the quality and robustness of the overall enterprise.

Experience/Skills
Bachelors degree in Computer related field is preferred; 7 years work experience in computer related field
