Description
As part of the Enterprise Software Architecture (ESAT) Team in HSBC, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global team in HSBC responsible for defines and creates the end-to-end software architecture discipline, standards, and guidelines enabling the implementation of software architectures. Enterprise Software Architecture (ESAT) Team projects range from conceptual and strategic to tactical and includes integrating current architectures and initiatives as well as initiating and overseeing new information technology architecture. Enterprise Software Architecture (ESAT) Team provides technical leadership, technology whitepapers, project planning, consulting, and strategy for end-to-end projects, and will be responsible for being on-plan delivery and quality.



The ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences from technical architects to senior management. Remain current on technology and architecture practices affecting area of responsibility and advises management and senior management on new developments. Participate in proof of concepts, provide guidance to domains and development teams, monitor and lead the adoption of new technologies and tools within the development organization.df-tc

Experience/Skills
  • Four year degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, related technical field, or an equivalency of education and work experience
  • Demonstrated skills in team leadership for requirements analysis, architecture and design, team mentoring, negotiations, conflict resolution, communications and project management
  • Ten years hands-on experience in architecting, designing, developing and implementing complex systems with two - three years management experience, experience in financial institutions is a plus
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal improvement of business and technical skills, including the ability to learn and apply new technologies and techniques
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to present technical topics to non-technical audiences and build partnerships
