Description
Will serve as a senior member of a Global Messaging Operations team specializing in delivering messaging/collaborative services to key businesses. These services are based on solutions from Microsoft, RIM, Cisco and other leading vendors in the messaging technology sector. Specific responsibilities will include: Provide leadership in evaluating and maintaining solutions built around Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007. Assist in developing policies, procedures, and standards for messaging specific products and services, and monitoring adherence to defined standards. Develop methods and procedures for resolving messaging related problems reported through incident management system, and training analysts in problem resolution. Schedule installations/upgrades and comply with policies and procedures regarding change management. Implement application enhancements that improve the reliability and performance of messaging services. Work on moderately complex problems without direction. Lead projects that are global in nature. Provide Tier 3 technical support in an on-call rotation.df-tc

Experience/Skills
10+ years experience working in an Exchange/Notes environment. Experience in Exchange 2003/2007. Must have strong technical knowledge of messaging products and stay abreast of technical advances in messaging technologies. Experience working with anti-virus and encryption technologies, such as McAfee VirusScan/Groupshield or Ironport. Experience implementing/supporting Instant Messaging (LCS/OCS), OWA or edge servers and wireless application such as Blackberry or EAS. Experience with system monitoring solutions such as MOM, BMC, CA Unicenter in an Exchange environment. Working knowledge of Active Directory 2003 and Directory Services including LDAP. Familiarity with project management process and methodologies. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field is preferred
