Senior Technician Job Description

The senior technician will report directly to the installation manager. He will be responsible for all installations that are given to him. He will also be responsible to technically support, the client or a vendor on any installation or project. He would assist sales and management in growing the business; by educating them on various technologies and services we can offer our present and future clients. He would be responsible for training all future technicians and help them gain the technical knowledge to become senior technicians. He will provide status on all installations he is responsible for and conduct quality audits on installations installed by outside vendors.




Skill Set

Installation of node infrastructure (cages, ladder racking, cable management, fiber management and various power work)
Experience in installation and termination of DS0, DS1, DS3 cabling and panels.
Experience in DC Rectifies and -48 Power Supplies
Experienced in various transmission facilities and structured cabling
Knowledge of TL9000 and Telcordia GR1275 installation standards
Install and test CAT5 and CAT6 cabling.
Conduct Site Surveys for various types of locations and installations.
Must have valid drivers license.
Must have own vehicle and be willing the travel NJ, NY and PA regiondf-tc
