We have an immediate need for a Senior Financial Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Financial Analyst interfaces with transaction process team, FPA team, and senior GSS management for actual and forecast results. Analyze monthly revenue/cost/expense profit loss statements; review and create journals for cost center expenses; prepare and input monthly forecasts; create variance analysis and update required schedules for corporate presentation. Support annual plan process for Professional Services Americas, including detail level cost center budgeting and update of internal labor rates. Monthly actual to forecast/plan analysis. Familiarity with SOX 404 process and audits to support compliance information requests.

MUST HAVE: 2 plus years Professional Services finance experience with Oracle, Hyperion, Microsoft Office-advanced Excel; Word Detail oriented; self-directed and enthusiastic excellent communications across management and peer levels.

Additional info:

Assist business partners in the execution of annual planning exercise. Prepare revenue, margin, headcount and financial operating budget. Train and work closely with LATAM Controller and LATAM region controllers in providing consistent monthly reporting for GSS Americas Management such as:
P&L monthly actual vs. forecast
Booking
Billing and Backlog Report
Implementing Americas consistent PS & Education financial structure and processes
Perform various analyses, primarily focused on U.S.
Gross margin analysis on product lines, trend analysis, P&L monthly results vs. plan/forecast.
Provide monthly/quarterly financial analysis and presenting key expense trends that impact the business
Provide cross-function job role education to the Project Analyst team (i.e. impact of accuracy and timeliness of GSS revenue & cost transaction recording)
Implication of financial accounting rules P
Periodic audit of engagements which have either low or high margins
Review for process improvement
Perform ad-hoc projects as requested by management.
Finance lead for U.S. implementation of new Education Management System
An effective communicator, strong financial analytical and organizational skills and a focus on quality
Cross-functional collaboration, communication and the ability to see the big picture and yet still be able to have thorough understanding of the details
Independence self-starter and proactive leader
Understanding of accounting, corporate policy, and operational process flows
Ability to interact with senior leaders in the business unit and within Finance on
a wide-range of financial and business issues
Minimum 5 years experience
2 plus years experience in a professional services environment
Familiar with project accounting systems
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
