Position Summary:

The ideal candidate will be an experienced development engineer with a strong technical background in firmware/hardware development. This candidate must have a solid foundation in RAID storage systems, NAS, SAN Firmware programming, and have strong technical knowledge and skills. The position will require internal interaction with product and team leader, the hardware team, documentation and quality assurance. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum levels of knowledge, skill and/or ability necessary.

Required Skills:

BS degree in Electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or related field.
* 5-10 years experience in firmware development and design.
* Proven 5+ years in firmware/hardware development and design
* Strong knowledge of RAID storage systems and SCSI/Fibre Channel/SATA/SAS/iSCSI/InfiniBand protocols
* Programming with real-time constraints: kernel-level Development on Embedded Application. Must have been at least 5 years of experience in: C, C++, and Assembly in Embedded application.
* BS degree in electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering or related field
* Candidate should possess excellent verbal and written communications skills.
* Excellent inter-personal skills are required.
* Ability to respond effectively and urgently to issues arising from support and sustaining of the existing products and applications.
