Our client in Austin Texas is seeking an accomplished SENIOR FLASH ACTIONSCRIPT DEVELOPER with strong programming ability with ActionScript, Flash, XML, developer, OOP AS2, PHP, version control software. Our client is an advertising and marketing firm with a robust strategic consulting practice and a recognized branding and direct response expertise seeks Senior Flash ActionScript Developer Candidates.

Experience/Skills
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience as a Flash Developer and is looking for an opportunity to participate in shaping the overall growth of an innovative firm's interactive department. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who: •Will help build a venerable team of developers that can tackle and succeed on any project•Will be able to provide input and direction into the departmental hiring process•Is comfortable coding with other developers on the same project (no lone wolves) •Is able to communicate clearly with other developers•Can write clean, clear and well commented code (an essential quality)•Is able to help craft best practices and hone internal processes•Is familiar with compiling and maintaining reusable code libraries•Will be prepared to talk specifically about what code libraries they have built when interviewedRequirements: •ActionScript 2 (using external classes, no timeline coders)•At least some familiarity with ActionScript 3•Extensive OOP AS2 experience•A full understanding of OOP techniques and theory, enough PHP to not run screaming at the site of some code•Know how to parse XML for the purposes of building UI components•Manage a project and charm clients - even though you'd rather be writing code•Understand the importance of being a mentor and enjoy doing it•Some experience with version control software
