Description
Our client is looking for a senior HR generalist to run the HR function in their Redwood City, CA office.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

. Provide support to employees on broad range of consulting needs
. Consult with managers and deliver tools to enable managers to coach their staff and comply with HR policies and programs
. Participate with corporate HR on projects, cross-organization initiatives and other assignments as needed
. Recruit for assigned positions within the client group
. Organize compensation, benefit and compliance programs for client group
. Attend HR group staff meetings
. Handle additional assignments outside of client group

This position will require travel 20-25% of the time to 3 separate locations in the United States.

Required Skills:
. 6 - 10 years experience in Human Resources
. Knowledge of Human Resource functions including employee relations, recruiting, benefits, compensation, training and development, and information systems
. Undergraduate degree in Business, Human Resources or Psychology
. Graduate degree preferred and SPHR certification preferred but not required
. Internet marketing services industry / high tech industry background
. High degree of interpersonal skills - ability to be a role model and provide optimistic leadership for employees and within the HR group
