Horizon has an opportunity in the Human Resources department for a Senior HRIS Analyst to support Peoplesoft HR v8.9. Seeking a self-motivated individual with solid communication skills, a thorough understanding of HR information systems and an expertise in multiple facets of human resources.

Serve as a liaison between HR and IT staff in implementing new functionality and resolving system concerns. Initiate, facilitate, and project manage analytical work designed to solve key HR challenges across all Human Resource practices. Coordinate process improvement activities regarding data that support Human Resource practices. Gather requirements from key HR end-users and translate them into an effective system design, while considering and anticipating organizational impact.



Responsibilities:

· Evaluate use of Peoplesoft HR to meet changing business requirements and continually monitor information needs

· Anticipate customer needs, monitor trends in order to recommend functionality enhancements; provide technical advice that enables a customer to solve a problem or improve business processes

· Coach the HR team to enable them to effectively utilize the HRIS to support their roles.

· Day to day resolution of HR data issues through reporting, process improvement, initiating data changes, etc.

· Design future business processes and systems requirements and perform systems testing.

· Lead defined scope projects and new functionality implementations

· Develop and maintain positive internal customer relationships

· Develop ad-hoc queries and reports for HR clients.

· Assist HR staff with developing complex HR data metrics and facilitate creation of reports to support HR metric requirements

· Develop process solutions for longer term strategic direction

· Manage multiple projects at once, while demonstrating a sense of urgency



Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree and 7 to 10 years of HR/HRIS experience.

· Experience with PeopleSoft HR v8.3 or higher is required

· Experience with Recruiting, Succession Planning, Competency Management, Position Management, and/or Compensation Planning & Administration is a plus.

· Understanding of Peoplesoft HRIS database design, structure, functions, processes, and tools

· Individual must pay exceptional attention to detail and must be a proven problem solver

· Experience in program and project administration

· Must be able to communicate in both verbal and written means, and with individuals of multi-functional and diverse backgrounds

· Proficiency in MS Office is mandatory
