Work will be performed at a customer site in Rockville MD.

This position will support all engineering and integration of a new production system (requirements development, design, etc.). The Senior Hardware Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with contract incumbent to inventory and understand the current system and work with other team members and contract vendors to ensure that the new system is properly architected, properly implemented and properly maintained. He/she will also have responsibility for developing, installing, integrating and maintaining the associated development and testing systems.

The successful candidate must be an experienced and well-rounded Systems Engineer and knowledgeable in the Systems Engineering (SE) lifecycle. He/She will be responsible for providing support in transitioning systems and new deliveries into the Operations and Testing environments. The Engineer must establish and maintain technical leadership throughout system lifecycle and must guide and mentor team members. Strong communications skills are a must to establish, maintain and promote good customer relationships and ensure the coordination of work tasks with team members and project stakeholders.df-tc
