Description
Senior Helpdesk Analyst

We have a client located in the South Bay thats looking for a Sr. Helpdesk Support Analyst to work onsite for a 6-month contract, possibly contract-to-hire. If you are interested in this position please submit resume with best contact info.

Responsibilities
Provide quality and timely resolution to the daily servicing issues encountered by users within our corporate headquarters and the branch office locations.
Handle incoming communications in a support environment generally through phone calls, voice mail, and e-mail.
Utilize a problem management system and produce department metric/tracking reports.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a high level of integrity.
The time spent will be equivalent to 70% Production Support, 20% Internal Support, and 10% Customer Support.
Qualifications
An Associates degree in Information Technology and/or 4 to 7 years of work experience in an IT related field.
A minimum of 2 years experience as a Helpdesk Analyst or a Technical Support Role.
Working knowledge and experience in diagnosing and resolving issues with end-user network connectivity, workstation configuration, user ID administration (creation, modification, password resets), and user profile configuration.
Experience in providing 2nd level application support (diagnostic, tracking, and escalation).
Working knowledge and experience with application support.
Working technical experience in the Microsoft Office family of products, Windows 2000/XP Operating Systems/Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Email and Outlook.
Experience in user ID administration in a mainframe environment is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
