Job Summary
Primary P&CI Training documentation contact for site departmental trainers and site management (including R&D) to obtain employee training documentation needed to support business activities. Responsible for integrity of database information, ad-hoc reporting, and administration of the 500+ users of the training documentation system (electronic and hardcopy) in accordance with applicable company, government, and industry regulations and guidelines. Serve as team lead and provide guidance to data entry staff on cGMP documentation practices and system requirements for the several hundred thousand data entries completed each year. Lead and provide guidance for customer project teams to improve processes and develop and assign training curriculum, modules, and courses. Lead the development of site training programs using various modes of delivery such as e-Learning and traditional classroom training.
Job Responsibilities
Prioritize and monitor the daily activities and workflow of four P&CI Training Documentation Coordinators. Provide supervision and leadership in the absence of the Manager, Training Documentation. Serve as a team lead and provide direction and guidance for site departmental data entry users and P&CI Training Documentation Coordinators to maintain electronic and hardcopy training documentation in accordance with applicable cGMPs. Ensure timely and accurate data entry; secure filing, and timely file retrieval. Responsible for the maintenance and security of several hundred thousand original hardcopy files.
Establish and maintain effective communications with all site departments, including R&D, to assure global data integrity and cGMP documentation practices. Monitor the several thousand per year Training Request Change (TRC) control process for maintaining (add, change, delete) curriculum, employee, and training documentation information. Develop, create, and assign training curriculums, modules, and courses to all employees.
Access client training documentation support needs, and technical support for the clients. Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and discrepancies. Develop and execute customized and standard reports that provide statistical information for the site’s training programs and data entry.
Consult, coach, and provide training on system requirements for 500+ database users. Control user accounts by assigning appropriate privileges and security levels.
Author, review, and approve SOPs and validation documentation linked to the training system. Perform system maintenance and updates as needed.
Provide leadership and participate on cross-functional teams to streamline site and departmental processes to improve compliance. Develop project plans and identify resources to ensure all objectives and deliverables are completed in a timely manner and within budget. Act as project lead for site training projects and facilitate training programs as needed. Provide presentations to senior management and regulatory authorities as needed.
Basic Qualifications
BS/A in Computer Science or Business preferred.
Experience with personal computer operations, support and maintenance of system and software. Knowledge of database applications and e-Learning development software such as Adobe Flash. Ability to apply computer knowledge to create new data files and search current files for reports, queries, etc. Proficiency with Microsoft packages including but not limited to Access, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Project. Experience with implementing Web 2.0 technologies desired.
7-9 years in data management position. Meticulous attention to detail. Ability to communicate and work with multiple customers and their needs and the ability to prioritize their own and others workloads. Must posses strong analytical, logic, and critical thinking skills, as well as solid presentation and group facilitation skills. Ability to conduct investigations and follow through to resolution of discrepancies.
Relocation is not available for this position.
