Senior IT Audit Analyst

Job Description

Description
As a member of our clients Internal Audit team, you will use your experience in risk and control analysis to evaluate the market, credit and operational risks impacting the banking industry and the control structure needed to mitigate these risks. You will participate in integrated financial, operational and information systems audits throughout the organization in order to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, the reliability of financial reporting, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will play a key role in leading these activities, to include developing an audit project plan, allocating resources, determining objectives, and leading staff members.

Qualifications
? Prior work experience in information technology audit roles within the financial services, insurance, or retail business sectors.
? Prior experience leading audit engagements, and guiding lesser experienced staff members.
? Knowledge and experience with standards, practices, and techniques related to the auditing of information technology and systems.
? Knowledge and experience with technology audit methodologies, including systems development, and automated audit techniques.
? Experience with reviewing programming involving COBOL, Easytreve, and/or Oracle.
? Understanding of principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis including theory, methodologies and regulatory requirements.
? Strong analytical skills.
? Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
? Ability to establish productive working relationships with diverse groups and individuals.
? Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fluid environment.
? Ability to travel overnight for projects as required (up to 25% of the time).
? An undergraduate or graduate school degree, including major course work in accounting, finance, business information systems, statistics and economics, or any combination of education and/or experience that would demonstrate the capability to perform the duties of the position.
? Possession of, or willingness to pursue, professional audit certification (CPA, CIA, CISA).df-tc
