Senior IT ConsultantLocation: San Francisco, CADescription:We are seeking a Senior IT Consultant. The position requires experience in Systems Administration and Network Engineering. The ideal candidate must have a clean DMV record, proof of insurance, and a professional appearance.Responsibilities of the position include:* Administer client servers, networks, firewalls, routers and desktops - anything computer related.* Respond to support requests on site, through e-mail, phone or through our remote connection utilities.* Travel onsite to perform any of the above listed tasks.* Provide 2nd level support for Network Engineers.* Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.* Support for server operating systems, including Windows 2000/2003 Server* Server applications, including web, Exchange, IIS and essential network services.* Network protocols and services - TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, IMAP, POP, HTTP, SSL, SSH.* Support for desktop operating systems, including Windows XP, Vista, and MacOS X. Examples of support include installing operating systems from scratch, rescuing data, reconfiguring the OS, helping answer user questions and training users, and fixing miscellaneous problems that pop up.df-tc
