Ajilon Consulting is seeking an Information Architect to support a client where you will work closely with internal clients to translate business rules and requirements into wireframes and functional specifications for data-rich, web-based projects of varying sizes and scope. Projects are varied and occur within various lines of business. Information Architects are responsible for executing and leading the information structure/design and user experience of the project.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct end user needs assessment and task analysis using appropriate techniques, e.g. interviewing, ethnography, site usage data analysis, etc.
Conduct business needs assessment including content analysis.
Perform heuristic site evaluations and competitive site analysis.
Create and revise information architecture documents including but not limited to; site maps, user profiles/personas, use cases, wireframes, content matrices, flow diagrams/process maps, usability test scripts, and detailed functional specifications.
Work closely and iteratively with clients managing expectations, presenting deliverables, facilitating work sessions/workshops.
Assist in conducting usability testing and other user validation exercises.
Deliver clear artifacts for graphic design and technology consumption; work with designers and developers to build the user interface
Assist with UAT testing.

Experience/Skills
. At least 5 years experience working in an Internet consulting environment or in the e-business area of a large corporation.
A minimum of 3 years in a role exclusively addressing information architecture (preferably working with complex sites).
Prior client interface experience, comfortable working as an individual contributor and as a member of a team sometimes across diverse organizations/areas of business.
Strong knowledge of and experience with user-centered design principles, and user analysis techniques
Familiarity with Content Management systems and portal environments.
Experience with very large enterprise navigation solutions
Ability to understand and integrate business needs and strategy with technology and interface design.
Strong communication skills and organization skills.
Proficiency in VISIO
Experience in Financial and Insurance industries a plus.
Ability to work in various business areas including life insurance, finance, human resources, finance, etc.
