Position Title: Senior Information Assurance Analyst/Engineer Duration: Direct Hire Location: Washington, D.C. Citizenship: US Clearance: DOJ Clearable(Police Check, Credit Check etc.) PROJECT OVERVIEW: Conducts IA program/system security status assessments, supports the development of IA program(s) including the development of IA policy and procedures. Provides security planning for system development lifecycle. Conducts system security planning and provides security documentation support. Conducts qualitative/quantitative risk assessments. Provides business continuity and disaster recovery planning and program support. Provides computer security awareness and training including IA awareness and training. Supports and leads the development of certification and accreditation/management approval to operate/due diligence acceptance packages. Able to support personnel security, information security, physical security, and environmental protection activities. DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: Our client is searching for a talented, senior-level IT security professional to join one of our growing Information Assurance teams. S/he will support our client's information security program by serving as an IA Analyst. S/he will engage in a mix of the following activities: -participate in the certification and accreditation process; -prepare risk assessment reports; -develop system security plans and risk mitigation plans; -support security tests and evaluations (ST&Es); -create Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms); -conduct FISMA self-assessments; -conduct system security assessments; -conduct system security planning; -develop security policies and procedures; and -provide security documentation support. Successful candidates will possess a mix of the following knowledge, skills, attributes, and experience: -7+ years of related experience; -extensive knowledge of FISMA, NIST, OMB A-130, and other information security-related Federal guidelines; -broad technical knowledge; -excellent client relationship management skills; -well-developed oral and written communication skills; -an ability to deal with individuals at all levels; -a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related discipline; and -an active Top Secret government security clearance.
