Description
Lockheed Martin Information Technology-Professional Services is looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst. Candidate will serve as a Security Policy Analyst for the United States Coast Guard's Information and Industrial Security Programs. Assists in the implementation and administration of the information and industrial security program for the United States Coast Guard. Studies Federal guideline material and recommends procedures for the classification and protection of classified national defense and other sensitive information originated or controlled by Coast Guard activities. Reviews requests for delegation and exercise of classification and declassification authority. Conducts reviews and evaluations of damage assessments and/or classification of reviews of classified efforts. Studies classification and declassification problem areas and advises technical personnel on classification requirements for programs and projects. Assists in the development of classification guidance, document marking and safeguarding. Will use personnel access controls and need to know criteria. Also physical storage and control, transmitting, transferring, reproducing, downgrading, and destroying information. Reviews through formal or informal visits, established security policies, practices, procedures, and techniques to a variety of organizations or situations that differ in kind and level of security, complexity, and local conditions or circumstances. Assesses situations or problems to determine the applicability of established methods, the need to digress from normal methods and techniques, the need to temporarily waive security and investigative standards, or whether specific kinds of waivers can be justified, and recommends resolution. Interprets, formulates, and implements regulatory guidance for classification management and safeguarding requirements. Assist in planning and conducting security manager meetings. As assigned, prepares
Coast Guard interim guidance as directed. Will develop and manage the Coast Guard's Industrial Security Program in accordance with the NISPOM. Participates in the evaluation and monitoring of contractor(s) security program. Conducts surveys, if applicable of industrial or other contractor operated facilities to determine their ability to work with and store classified and sensitive information, including information generated or stored in ADP systems; provide for proper personnel security administration, such as proper visitor controls and physical security provisions and safeguards. Insures clearance and suitability levels for company and employees are commensurate with contract requirements. Provides orientation and advisory service as necessary to ensure that contractors are oriented to the Coast Guard's Industrial security program. Reviews contract Security Classification Specifications prior to approval by the contracting officer and release to the contractor. Conducts periodic security reviews to examine procedures, training, and facilities utilized by contractors to determine compliance with the requirements and terms of Security Agreements and the practices for safeguarding classified material and other security provisions. Reviews reports of investigations and any other actions submitted to the industrial security program manager.

Requirements: US citizen with a current DoD secret security clearance (selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information). This position requires a minimum of ten years experience in Information Security. Must have experience with Document/information security collateral classified and controlled unclassified (FOUO, LES, SSI, etc.)
